About Angel

Angel Ixchel is a stand-up comedian, writer, and workshop facilitator whose comedy blends sharp situational humor with authentic storytelling. Drawing from everyday life, relationships, and personal experiences, she brings an engaging, relatable voice to audiences both on and off the stage.

As a writer, Angel was a contributing author in a published anthology led by Reyna Grande, further showcasing her passion for storytelling beyond stand-up comedy. She has continued to develop her craft through training at The Second City and The Pack Theater, while also studying with acclaimed instructor Stephanie Streisand.

Angel has performed throughout her home region of Sacramento and has appeared on stages in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Texas, steadily building a reputation for connecting with audiences through her hilarious stage presence and honest perspective.

In addition to performing, Angel hosts comedy writing workshops where stand-up comedians collaborate, refine material, and develop stronger sets in a supportive creative environment. She is passionate about helping comics find their unique voice while continuing to evolve her own.

Whether she’s behind the microphone, behind the page, or helping fellow comedians shape new material, Angel Ixchel is dedicated to creating comedy that is genuine, memorable, and deeply human.
